Founded in 2007 in Prince George, BC, HomeTech Energy Solutions is a government of Canada-certified ENERGUIDE consulting firm. Rod Croome, P. Eng. President, is an advocate for energy efficiency and economic sustainability. Since 2007 Rod has used his experience performing energy modeling of new homes, existing homes, and commercial buildings while training new Energy Advisors and consulting for various government bodies regarding development of Energy policy.
Initially Hometech focused on Northern BC, and has since expanded to offer Energy Assessments throughout BC. All Hometech Energy Advisors are licensed and independent energy advisors. Our advisors will show you how to improve the comfort of your home and cut heating and cooling costs, while ensuring adequate ventilation for a healthy indoor environment for your family.
